Please be advised that as per CVSE and the motor vehicle act, ANY luggage/Equipment must be carried in a separate vehicle. Only items that can fit into a backpack and on students lap can be transported by school bus. Items such as pumpkins, sporting equipment, musical instruments or any other hard objects will NOT be permitted on the bus.
When booking field trips, please ensure the chaperone CELL PHONE number is provided on the trip request. This ensures drivers can effectively communicate to the teacher/chaperone on the trip and advise of delays and update ETA’s. 5:30pm is the earliest pickup request available for Vancouver/Mountain pickups, and 5:30pm for Chilliwack pickup requests.”
Please Note: Due to Bell Schedules, 9:30am is the earliest departure. Return to school by 1:30PM for 2024-2025 - There are NO Departures from the School between 1:30PM and 4:00PM as we are busy with school routes. Later return is available after PM school routes are completed - Bus departing Langley between 4:00 - 4:30PM with arrival in Vancouver or Chilliwack approximately 5:30PM.
Bookings for 2024/25 will be approved on a first come first served basis over the next few months as time permits.

IDEA SUMMIT - Tuesday May 6, 2025 - Closed - all SD35 buses will be in use during school hours.
May: 1 (Landmark Cinemas), 2, 5, 6 (Idea Summit), 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
June: All of June is sold out except limited availability on June 25th, 2025
1) Fill in the blank fields with the required information as indicated.
2) All required fields must be filled out in order to submit the request (Please note any incomplete fields will be displayed in the lower left corner).
3) Please allow for 15 minutes inclusive in the departure times to allow for loading of students etc
4) Completed requests will be sent to the principal for approval.
5) Approved trips are scheduled by transportation, and trip confirmations can be viewed on this page.
6) Daytime field trips times can only be accommodated between 9:30am to 1:30pm (must be back to your school by this time) in order to accommodate regular school runs. Return pick up times after PM school routes are completed will be subject to extra costs. In cases where times are requested that can not be accommodated by SD35 School buses please note that you would like us to request charter quotes on your behalf.
7) To cancel a trip, please log in using your request#, and select "CANCELLED" at the bottom left of the form. NOTE : Any SD35 Trips cancelled within 24 hours of the trip will result in a $50 cancellation fee (Charter companies have individual cancellation parameters and penalties)

BUS CODE OF CONDUCT
Be respectful to all other riders, bus driver, pedestrians and motorists. Only registered riders shall ride the bus, and must ride their assigned bus.
Boarding the Bus
- Form a single line as you walk onto the bus
- Respect personal space between yourself and the student ahead of you
- Go to your seat and sit down - students may be assigned to a specific seat
- Small items may be carried onto the bus which must be carried on your lap. If the driver thinks an item will block the aisle or seat, the item will not be permitted on the bus. If you have any questions as to what is allowed, please ask your driver about it prior to bringing it on the bus and they will guide you on what is permitted
- Do not bring items that could cause harm (i.e. alcohol, animals, bikes, drugs, explosive items, glass, sports sticks of any type, fishing rods, laser pointers, lighters, matches, scooters, skateboards, skates without safety bags, skis, ski poles, strong-smelling sprays / liquids, tobacco products, or weapons - real or fake). The driver has the authority to deny or secure any objects of concern
On the Bus
- Follow the bus driver’s instructions
- Sit facing forward with your back against the seat. Keep your legs, feet, and personal belongings out of the aisle. Do not sit sideways or turn around in your seat. Stay seated at-all-times until the bus is at your designated stop and has come to a complete stop
- Place your backpack or book bag on your lap
- Keep your belongings inside your backpack or book bag
- Please keep the bus clean and use the garbage can provided - do not leave garbage on the seat or floor
- The windows open for fresh air. Please do not put anything outside the window, this includes your hands and head
- Use a quiet voice (inside voice) when talking to other riders
- Eating or drinking is not permitted on the bus
Unloading the Bus
- Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop
- Once the bus is stopped, you may stand up, check the area to ensure nothing is left behind and walk single file to exit the bus
